Ebdaa Qurra (إبداع القراء) is a volunteer digital initiative focused on documenting Quran readers, mosque imams, mosques, and related geographic information in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This publication documents the concept, development, and information structure of the Ebdaa Qurra digital directory. The project began in 1439 AH with a small WhatsApp list containing 31 Quran readers and gradually developed into an online directory designed to make information about Riyadh Quran readers and mosque imams easier to discover. The directory connects people with places by organizing information about Quran readers, imams, mosques, neighborhoods, geographic locations, and nearby Riyadh Metro stations. This approach allows users to explore local religious information through different entry points, including a reader's name, a mosque, a neighborhood, or a geographic location. The project is particularly focused on documenting information that may otherwise remain scattered across personal knowledge, social media, messaging applications, recordings, and informal community networks. The publication also discusses the role of volunteer digital initiatives in preserving local knowledge and making community information more accessible to the public.
