We analyze Kudlik et al. 's recent criticism of the scaling procedure for the primary relaxation in supercooled liquids introduced by Dixon et al. . We find that those criticisms result from imposing unjustified constraints on the scaling procedure and from improper separation of the primary relaxation from other features in the spectrum.
