Unique 1D aligned γ-Fe 2 O 3 nanorods with internal void spaces anchored on 2D rGO nanosheets were successfully constructed. The resultant nanocomposites of γ-Fe 2 O 3 /rGO exhibit excellent lithium storage properties.
