Phthalate-based plasticizers will continue to dominate the worldwide market in volume terms throughout the forecast period but the faster-growing phthalate-free plasticizers are forecast to attain a volume of some 2.3 million tonnes/year, which equates to a market share of about 22%, by 2026.
