The curves of penetration of polydisperse aerosols with log-normal particle size distribution ( r g = 10 -7 -10 -5 cm, log β g = 0-0.4) through a parallel-walled channel as functions of the rate of flow and of the dimensions of the channel were calculated by means of an electronic computer. With the help of these curves the particle size distribution in such aerosols can be found by Townsend's method.
