The quasiparticle energy spectra associated with some memebrs of fullerene (curved graphitic geometries, e.g., C₅₀, C₆₀, C₇₀, and helical graphitic microtubules) are obtained anayltically within the Hartree-Fock mean-field approximation. The magnetization and magnetic susceptibility are calculated in the presence of a strong external magnetic field at zero temperature. Interesting theoretical predictions such as the single quasiparticle excitation energies for C₅₀, C₅₀⁺; C₆₀, C₆₀⁺; C₇₀ and C₇₀⁺ as well as the presence of an extra peak in de Haas--van Alphen oscillations for a helical graphitic microtubule are discussed in terms of accessible experimental measurements.
