In 102 infants varying in age from 1–2 years 3 months, suffering from chronic poliomyelitis, the incidence of toxocariasis was found to be 5·8%. This is significantly higher than in a control group of normal children in whom the incidence of toxocariasis was only 1·4%. These findings in U.A.R. were discussed and compared with those of Woodruff et al. in Britain.
