A project for an active geophysical experiment in a dense medium is presented. It is shown that under characteristic parameters of a high-speed aluminum plasma jet in water, the large-scale evolution of plasma formation is determined predominantly by hydrodynamic processes. Within the framework of hydrodynamic calculations in cylindrical geometry, the formation of a multiscale structure of the plasma region has been demonstrated. Using model MHD problems, considering the finite conductivity of the medium, it is shown that the shape of the diamagnetic cavity maintains a connection with the plasma region, and the depth of the cavity and its dimensions are determined by the diffusion of the magnetic field. Recommendations are given for experimental diagnostics of the proposed formulation.
