This article compares two non-relational database systems: Amazon DynamoDB and MongoDB. The aim of the study was to identify the more efficient system. For this purpose, identical databases have been prepared in four environments: MongoDB Local, DynamoDB Local, MongoDB Atlas, and DynamoDB AWS. Research scenarios were designed to measure the execution time of database operations such as searching, adding, editing, and deleting data. The scripts enabling the measurement of these operations have been prepared in the JMeter program. Additionally, based on one of the research scenarios, it has been checked which database system better optimizes queries.
