An electrochemical reaction of 2‐alkenylbenzamides, NaHSO 3 , and alcohols was established to access sulfonate ester‐substituted isoindolinones in moderate to good yields with good functional group tolerance. This reaction proceeds through an alkoxysulfonyl radical intermediate, which undergoes a radical cyclization process with 2‐alkenylbenzamides.
