Highlights the potential for misdiagnosing rare causes of giant right atrial enlargement as Ebstein anomaly.
Many acquired and congenital pathologies could cause enlargement of Right Atrium (RA). In rare pathologies we couldn't find an obvious reason for enlargement of RA. Sometimes it leads to misdiagnosis if we try to explain an unknown pathology with well known pathology. In this article we describe a woman who presented with giant enlargement of the RA misdiagnosed as Ebstein anomaly.
