With prolonged cycling, spent LiFePO4 suffers lithium depletion, lattice defects, and structural degradation. A self-assembled supramolecular interface enables a thermally driven regeneration cascade on degraded cathodes. This cascade sequentially accomplishes precise lithium replenishment, antisite defect repair, phase reconstruction, and conductive network restoration, thereby transforming spent cathodes into high-performance energy-storage materials.
