A facile electrochemical method to prepare one-dimensional ZnO/Mn 3 O 4 core/shell nanorod and nanotube arrays is reported and their applications as electrodes in supercapacitors are examined. The as-prepated ZnO/Mn 3 O 4 core/shell nanoarray structures exhibit excellent capacitance and superior rate performance.
