This publication, developed within the EUniverse project, presents recommendations for embedding EU values into the everyday practices of internationalisation and Erasmus+ mobility in higher education. Based on the EUniversal Mindset, a values-driven approach to internationalisation, it supports higher education institutions (HEIs) in moving beyond procedural approaches towards more inclusive, participatory and sustainable practices. The recommendations focus on three areas: integrating EU values into quality standards and the mobility cycle; creating structured dialogue on EU values, including with refugee students and academics; and recognising the engagement of mobility stakeholders whose contributions are essential to internationalisation. The publication provides practical actions to help HEIs integrate, implement, monitor and recognise EU values within their institutional and international strategies.
