This work asks whether the post-recombination gravitational effects usually attributed to cold dark matter (CDM) can be reproduced, within an effective Einstein–Proca description motivated by Weyl geometry, by a dynamical Weyl–Proca sector, and how the same sector can be continued backward without assuming primordial CDM, inflation, or reheating.
