The ECPE White Paper on ´Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Power Electronics´ was drawn up by a group of experts from the ECPE Research Network as part of an ECPE Task Force with several subgroups (SGs), which began its deliberations in September 2025. This White Paper, available on the ECPE website www.ecpe.org traces the application of AI methods and tools throughout the entire life cycle of a power electronics product – from the early development phase, through to manufacturing and finally the product´s operational phase. The Task Force has decided to address the cross-cutting issue of the use of AI methods and tools in human learning, education and advanced training in this separate White Paper document on ´AI-supported Power Electronics Education´ prepared by subgroup SG 5.
