Benedicks-type theorem for the abstract Heisenberg group

Abstract

In this note, we prove an analogue of the Benedicks-type theorem in the abstract Heisenberg group for group Fourier transform using the Hilbert space theory. Moreover, we define short-time Fourier transform (STFT) on the abelian group and study the Benedicks-type theorem for STFT.
