This conceptual paper examines principles, conditions, and elements as an analytical framework for examining physical phenomena. It follows Paper 02, Observation and the Sequence of Scientific Understanding: phenomenon, observation, description and analysis, reasoning, proposed explanation, testing, and revision. The paper distinguishes the physical phenomenon from the categories used to analyze it. Principles concern characteristic behavior or governing relations; conditions concern circumstances affecting a particular occurrence; and elements concern participants or components of the event. The framework is presented as a methodological proposal for conceptual clarity, not as a new physical law.
