In this contribution a survey of the recent data on oscillating bromate oxidative reactions is given. The main part of the paper deals with the reaction mechanism. The simplest hypothesis on the mechanism of these reactions can be outlined: all the dynamic features of the system are defined by the kinetics of the reaction (1) magnified image provides only a linear feedback.
