This article presents a scientific-theoretical and methodological analysis of the pedagogical conditions for educating future reserve officers in the spirit of national patriotism in military training units of higher educational institutions. The study substantiates that the integration of educational and upbringing processes is an important pedagogical factor in developing such qualities among future reserve officers as devotion to the Motherland, civic responsibility, awareness of military duty, respect for national and universal human values, discipline, courage, responsibility, and the ability to engage in collective cooperation. The study identifies motivational-value, content-cognitive, practical-activity, socio-pedagogical, and reflexive-evaluative pedagogical conditions for the effective organization of national-patriotic education. In addition, a mechanism for planning, implementing, and evaluating these pedagogical conditions is proposed. The article emphasizes the need to develop a pedagogical mechanism based on the sequence “National Values – Comprehension – Intrinsic Motivation – Conviction – Practical Activity – Moral Behavior – Reflection.”
