The case study was realized on the municipalities of the Frailesca region, Chiapas. Derived from the execution and analysis of Multi-Criteria Evaluation technique in Geographic Information System, it was found that 1,501.64 km 2 of land in the study area are highly suitable for the emplacement of Municipal Solid Waste management infrastructure, however, the best zones are located very close to Municipal Head of Villaflores and Villa Corzo.
