Rowlands et al. (1981) conducted an observational in Hypertension (n=32). Black race vs. White race was evaluated on Blood pressure and cardiovascular responses (baroreflex activity and pressor response to exercise and cold). Black and white hypertensive patients showed no differences in continuous intra-arterial ambulatory blood pressure, baroreflex activity, or pressor responses to exercise and cold.
