This pilot study examined the feasibility and potential efficacy of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), using the DNA‑V model, as a school‑based approach for autistic adolescents. The study explored links between psychological inflexibility and anxiety, assessed ACT delivery in a school setting, and considered preliminary outcomes. Forty‑six adolescents aged 11–14 took part, completing measures across three time points. ACT was implemented with strong engagement, and early patterns suggested meaningful reductions in key psychological outcomes for those receiving the intervention. These findings indicate that ACT shows promise as a supportive school‑based approach for autistic adolescents experiencing anxiety.
