Based on the Miner’s rule, a life prediction method suitable for sequential vibration and mechanical fatigue loading is established. This method employs the Theory of Critical Distance to analyze the fatigue lives of specimens under constant-amplitude mechanical fatigue loading, and combines the Critical Distance Method with the Dirlik model in the frequency domain method to analyze the vibration fatigue lives of the test specimens. Subsequently, based on the Miner’s linear damage rule, the damage value under sequential combined loading is calculated. Verification through experimental data shows that the method proposed in this paper can accurately predict the fatigue life under sequential combined loading, with all predicted data points falling within a 2-fold factor error band.
