Generative artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming embedded in everyday social life, including how individuals seek advice, interpret interpersonal conflict, and make relational decisions (Zao-Sanders, 2025). While AI is increasingly used to discuss personal and social concerns (Laird et al., 2025; Robb, 2025), little is known about how reliance on AI-based interpersonal advice may shape independent social judgement over time. This study examines whether repeated exposure of AI-generated interpretations of interpersonal conflicts shifts how individuals themselves understand and evaluate similar conflicts in terms of responsibility and reparative actions.
