Palatal myoclonus is a clinical manifestation caused by lesions involving the Guillain-Mollaret triangle (dentato-rubro-olivary pathway) and is often associated with hypertrophic olivary degeneration. Reported causes of palatal myoclonus include infectious, inflammatory, autoimmune, demyelinating, neoplastic, vascular, and drug-related disorders. We report a case of drug-resistant tuberculous meningitis presenting with palatal myoclonus and describe the patient's clinical course and outcome.
