Lately, the use of brainwaves (EEG) for security and locking applications has become a hot topic in terms of technological innovation. Modern authentication systems make use of hybrid approaches which combine Deep Learning (primarily GRU/RNN based architectures) and mathematical approaches (such as PCA) in order to achieve outstanding results in the controlled environment of a laboratory. When analyzing the internal workings of such systems, it becomes evident that there is a rather large context discrepancy between the ideal lab conditions and the real world scenarios which involve normal human activity.Modern Neural authentication models are typically trained with an exclusive set of healthy users sitting alone in a dark room. Outside of this strictly monitored environment, the likelihood of encountering a user experiencing an emergency accident or being under threat of a dangerous situation like a robbery is far higher. This dramatic increase in stress causes the subject's brainwaves to deviate significantly from the norm and triggers an emergency-induced feature drift in the neural network. Due to the inability of the inflexible AI lock to recognize this emergency state, it will instead trigger a false lock-out of its legitimate owner at the moment of emergency when they need it the most. Similar emergency failures occur with users under the effects of a severe fever or headache causing dramatic biological irregularities that result in inflated False Rejection Rates (FRR). Meanwhile, the centralized storage of 128-dimensional latent encodings leaves the possibility for cognitive data piracy through the use of Generative AI to leak private information or intellectual property of another before it is published. This paper proposes an alternative multi-modal context aware defensive framework capable of countering many of the aforementioned threats against traditional neural locks. The proposed architecture includes a pre-training approach for stress-induced states using Neuro-Dynamic Multi-State Enrolment and real-time independent component analysis filtering to remove biological irregularities of sick users. An emergency physical override paired with constant pulse tracking from the integration of smartbands along with an alternate iris authorization can make an alternate form of cognition-based security viable in day-to-day circumstances without compromising cognitive liberty. Open-source implementation logic is presented for this paper to demonstrate the framework's resilience against realistic biological and security-oriented concerns."
