Measurements of spin-wave dynamics in a Au-19 at.% Fe alloy are interpreted using the damped---harmonic-oscillator model. The results show almost constant, temperature-independent spin-wave stiffness below Tc (=178 K), and a progressive increase of damping below {~}100 K. These results together with small-angle total scattering intensity measurements suggest that ferromagnetism and spin-glass "order" coexist at low temperatures.
