Developing high-performance, recyclable catalysts for NaBH 4 hydrolysis remains a challenge for hydrogen production. Herein, we first prepared Co 2 B nanoparticles supported on CoLa layered double hydroxide/carbon nanofibers (CoLa-LDH/CF), which exhibits a high initial hydrogen generation rate of 9954.4 mL min −1 g −1 and a low activation energy of 37.4 kJ mol −1 . The electronegativity mismatch induced by La optimizes the interfacial charge distribution and modulates the electronic state of the active sites, thereby enhancing the catalytic performance. Subsequently, a stable aerogel network was constructed from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), cellulose nanofibers (CNF), and CF via hydrogen bonding during the freeze-thaw process, with active components uniformly dispersed throughout the network. The aerogel catalyst delivers an initial hydrogen generation rate of 7550.8 mL min −1 ·g −1 , a 75.85% catalytic activity retention ratio, and only 0.65% mass loss. This study provides a promising design strategy for integrated catalysts, with long-term cycling durability to be investigated in future work.
