This study examines the role of information literacy (IL) in enhancing global entrepreneurship in the digital economy. The research explores how IL skills contribute to entrepreneurial innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability in an increasingly globalized marketplace. A descriptive survey research design was employed, with data collected from entrepreneurs and business owners in Nigeria's North-East region. The findings reveal that entrepreneurs with higher levels of IL are more likely to engage successfully in global markets, adopt innovative digital tools, and sustain their business operations during global economic shifts. The study emphasizes the importance of IL in bridging the gap between access to information and its effective use for entrepreneurial development. Recommendations include integrating IL training into entrepreneurship programs, sponsoring digital and IL workshops, and engaging with information professionals to enhance decision-making.
