Medical tourism has rapidly expanded into a multi-billion-dollar global industry, enabling cross-border healthcare delivery. However, one of the most critical vulnerabilities in medical tourism remains the continuity of post-treatment patient care once international patients return to their home countries. This thesis investigates the integration of digital health technologies and telemedicine platforms into medical tourism operations. Using a systematic analytical methodology and comparative evaluation, we propose a novel Digital Post-Treatment Continuum Framework (DPTCF).
