"COVID-19 Data Analytics Using Regression Techniques and Enhanced SIR Model"

After being labelled as a critically sensitive outbreak, the spreading of Corona virus needs to be restricted by identifying the infected persons with utmost precision.In this work, we had proposed hybrid model by integrating an innovative machine learning algorithm with SIR model.The proposed model has been highly effective in screening the persons who are more likely to be infected by this virus, who had already infected by it and those who had bounced back from this infection after getting infected.Statistical derivations on time series forecast had been generated in this work by applying machine learning algorithms on predetermined datasets.We had successfully carried out investigation using the proposed predictive model for containing the virus spread as well as precisely deciding over regions where lockdown could be imposed or exempted.Results obtained using data analytic technique had been found to be more accurate, thus curtailing further virus infections.
