This article analyses theoretical and practical pathways for supporting sustainable development through improvements in human capital quality. Human capital is considered a multidimensional resource encompassing education, health, professional skills, experience, digital literacy, and the capacity to adapt to change. The study uses comparative and content analyses of academic literature and reports by international organizations. The analysis indicates that human capital is linked not only to economic performance but also to social inclusion, environmental responsibility, and long-term resilience. ong learning, labour-market-relevant skills, and green competencies are identified as key dimensions in the reviewed literature. The article argues that these factors should be coordinated within an integrated policy and institutional framework. Based on the findings, a set of proposed indicators and policy recommendations is developed for future assessment of human capital policies. The proposed approach aims to support the effective use of human potential, strengthen equality of opportunity, and create conditions for sustainable economic progress.
