IDEA: Adjustment made to the live model — verify against the backtests: Apply filter: Phase distance TIGHT (<=2deg) — improves win rate from 32.5% to 37.6% (+5.2pp, n=595) SAME-WINDOW EFFECT: Applying a tight phase-distance filter (≤2°) would have excluded most of the current open/closed trades, as several entries (e.g., GBPUSD LONG at 1.35301, USDJPY SHORT at 160.187, NZDUSD SHORT at 0.59214) likely sit outside that narrow phase band. The two rizzy5m losses (NZDUSD SHORT, XAUUSD SHORT) and the rizzy7m EURJPY LOSS would likely have been filtered out, removing three of the four recent losses. The two wins (GBPUSD SHORT, EURUSD LONG) may or may not survive the filter depending on their phase distance — if they survive, the window PnL improves sharply; if they also get filtered, you lose the wins and the net effect is neutral-to-negative. Expected delta: roughly +2 to +4 trades avoided losses, but with high uncertainty because the filter's selectivity is untested on live entries.
