This article develops a concept for converting excess heat generated during the operation of a photovoltaic (PV) panel into electrical energy using a thermoelectric generator (TEG), utilizing the generated energy for monitoring and autonomous panel surface cleaning systems, and managing the process via Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT). The work is based on a comparative analysis of existing scientific literature; no claims are made regarding new laboratory experiments or new measurement results. While the literature addresses PV heat harvesting via TEG, AIoT-based monitoring, and automatic cleaning as separate areas of study, this article proposes integrating these modules based on energy balance and safe control principles. To evaluate system efficiency, parameters such as panel temperature, solar irradiance, output power, surface contamination, TEG temperature differential, and the energy consumption of the cleaning cycle must be recorded concurrently.
