Pediatric thymomas are exceedingly rare anterior mediastinal tumors, and their imaging characteristics remain poorly characterized. This retrospective case series describes the clinical presentations and multimodal imaging findings of pathologically confirmed pediatric thymomas.Particular emphasis was placed on imaging findings that may help distinguish thymomas from other pediatric anterior mediastinal tumors, including lymphomas and germ cell tumors. We also highlight the spectrum of imaging findings of pediatric thymomas that radiologists and clinicians should recognize to facilitate accurate diagnosis, appropriate management, and treatment planning.
