The study was conducted to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of Solikox and SpasiTsyp against eimeriosis in broiler chickens and to analyse the resulting intestinal pathomorphological changes to determine their potential use in treating poultry. For the experiment, four groups of 14-day-old chickens, each with 15 birds, were formed using the analogue principle. The first group consisted of clinically healthy birds, the second included chickens infected with eimeriosis, the third group received the coccidiostatic agent Solikox, and the fourth group received the coccidiostatic agent Solikox and the probiotic SpasiTsyp. The drugs were administered from the age of 14 days by water for two days at a dose of 2 mL per 1 L of drinking water and for 14 days at a dose of 10 mL per 1 L of water. The initial infestation rate was 38.5 ± 3.2 oocysts per microscopic field, confirming a severe infection. Two weeks after the start of treatment, the extensive infestation efficiency in the third group of chickens was 86.7%, and in the fourth group, 93.3%. By the 35th day, no oocysts were detected in the birds receiving treatment, indicating 100% efficacy. Clinical observations revealed an improvement in the general condition of the birds: increased activity, restoration of appetite, and normalisation of faeces consistency. Histological analysis confirmed positive dynamics in changes in intestinal structure. In chickens receiving combination treatment, restoration of the mucous membrane and villus height, as well as normalisation of the cellular composition of the epithelium, were observed. In birds without treatment, pronounced pathological changes were observed: villous atrophy, epithelial desquamation, inflammatory infiltrates, and necrotic foci. Combination therapy minimised structural damage and ensured the bird’s full recovery. The results demonstrate the potential of using Solikox in combination with a probiotic supplement for the treatment and prevention of eimeriosis.
