The Ultra-Resolved ANgular phOtoelectron Spectroscopy (URANOS) beamline is a dedicated facility for spin- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy at the SOLARIS synchrotron. Over a photon energy range of 8–150 eV, the beamline provides high photon flux, tunable polarization, and few-meV energy resolution. The higher harmonic contamination stays below 1%. Photon beams of lower quality may be generated up to 600 eV energy. The photon beam is focused to approximately 150 µm (horizontally) x 60 µm (vertically) and may be further cut down to 60 µm x 60 µm at the sample. The available instrumentation enables angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements at temperatures ranging from 500 down to 4 K.
