Manual sales transactions on small businesses sometimes lead to fatigue and risk of error and make reporting slower than usual. The small shop sometimes has many customers waiting for their order, and with manual work it takes more time. Also there is another problem: calculating the total of the price, also the inventory monitoring, and slow to generate the report. The user or worker has to write down manually the customer’s order and also calculate manually with a calculator. This research introduces a Sales Order Management System that can minimize those problems. Build on Tkinter and SQLite3 and can be accessed offline on a computer without internet. The results show that this application can help reduce the working time, wrong calculations, slow reporting, and inventory management. This proves that the Sales Order Management System Application can solve the general problems, even though there is a need for more improvement, such as the fact that this application only works on the Windows environment and is only tested on one thermal printer.
