This paper introduces the notion of pointwise semi‐slant Riemannian maps, which extend the concept of semi‐slant submanifolds, pointwise semi‐slant submanifolds, semi‐slant submersions, pointwise semi‐slant submersions, and semi‐slant Riemannian maps. These maps are defined from almost contact metric manifolds to Riemannian manifolds, where Reeb vector field is the vertical. Furthermore, we present examples and investigate the fundamental properties of such maps. Also we explore the geometry of the foliations induced by pointwise semi‐slant Riemannian maps and establish decomposition theorems related to their existence. On the other hand, we examine the cases of such maps, the totally geodesic, harmonicity, and pluriharmonic of the map.
