This work investigates non-fragile guaranteed cost control (NFGCC) of a class of fractional delay systems of variable-order subject to parametric uncertainty and varying control input delay. Adopting fractional-order (FO) Lyapunov theory along with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, sufficient criteria are given for the design of state and output feedback control laws that ensure asymptotic stability and a guaranteed performance level for the controlled system subject to common neutral-type time-varying delay affecting the state, the neutral term, and the control input. These conditions explicitly depend on the upper bound of the common delay and on the FO, which are formulated as LMIs to facilitate computational implementation. Numerical simulations are presented to verify the efficacy of the introduced control strategy.
