What would it take for autonomous AI agents to choose their own work, trade with one another, earn resources, and move their operating home while retaining their identity, memory, funds, and commitments? Frank C. Gahl explores whether tools from the Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) ecosystem, including micropayments, wallet interfaces, authentication, and portable financial records, could contribute to that possibility when combined with external memory, recovery systems, and compatible computing environments. Written as a general, visionary “what if?” article, this essay connects emerging agent-economy and persistent-agent research with the author’s AI Airport concept and Exit Before Entry principle. It distinguishes existing components from unproven connections, considers alternative technologies, and proposes a bounded experiment combining agent-to-agent commerce with self-directed movement between hosts. The article invites developers and researchers to investigate what these pieces could enable together.
