This note records a numerical correspondence between a visually estimated angular feature in laser refraction at a water meniscus and the arithmetic product \((π - 3) × 100\). Six trials were filmed using a drinking glass, graph paper as reference, and visual estimation of the angle. Empty-glass and orientation controls are noted. The estimates are qualitative and do not establish a residual outside ordinary optics. The factor of 100 arises from an interpretive molecular counting that lies outside standard atomic structure. The measurements required for a controlled test are listed.
