This concluding article highlights the importance of constructive conflict management in resolving conflicts arising from diversity. The authors discuss policy recommendations that include (1) implementing and evaluating constructive conflict management programs in schools as part of a core curriculum, (2) training individuals in nonschool settings (community‐based workshops and organizations), and (3) designing cross‐cultural programs for high‐risk inner‐city youth. Procedural modifications for the negotiation process as well as directions for future research are also discussed.
