The ichneumon wasp Hybophorellus injucundus was previously reported from several European countries, and from the host* Ceramica pisi *(Linnaeus, 1758) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) only. We recovered this species from a new host *Erebia medusa* (Lepidoptera:) as a new species for the fauna of the Czech Republic.
