This project examines the limitations of Thomas Kuhn’s concept of paradigm and proposes Evolutionary Perspectivism as an alternative. It develops a new theoretical framework by bringing together Charles Sanders Peirce’s evolutionary philosophy and theory of communal inquiry with subsequent studies of perspectivism. It explores how multiple perspectives coexist, how some become dominant, and how they compete, interact, and influence one another. Particular attention is given to how perspectives and knowledge evolve through criticism, debate, cooperation, and mutual contributions. Ultimately, the project seeks to understand how continuous communal inquiry across diverse perspectives can advance scholarship and contribute to a better world.
