Boger ternary nanofluid flow in active parallel plates has established consideration due to its potential uses in advanced heat transfer systems, where improved viscoelastic properties, thermal conductivity, and controlled fluid motion are required to improve thermal performance. The combination of ternary nanoparticles and Boger fluid offers opportunities to improve heat transfer while retaining desirable rheological properties, whereas the dynamic interaction of parallel active plates is an effective strategy for controlling fluid movement and thermal boundary layer properties. Motivated by these applications, the study explores the influence of nonlinear radiative heat flux on the flow of Boger ternary nanofluid through the parallel active plates subjected to a magnetic field and heat absorption/generation. The work uniquely focuses on parallel active plates, whose dynamic interaction substantially modifies the temperature and momentum boundary layers subjected to a magnetic field. The governing equations are transformed into dimensionless ordinary differential equations using the suitable similarity variables. The reduced equations are solved numerically using the Runge-Kutta Fehlberg’s fourth-fifth order approach. Furthermore, the Taguchi technique is used to evaluate the heat transport rate for different parameters. The significance of different parameters on velocity and thermal profiles is shown via graphical representations. The major outcomes of the study show that during plate contraction, velocity profiles lean toward the lower plate, but during expansion, flow redistributes more gradually. Higher solvent concentrations have viscous effects, reducing fluid velocity and convective heat transfer. The increase in radiation and heat generation/absorption parameters strengthens the temperature profile.
