A novel Schiff base, 2-((1-(naphthalen-2-yl)ethylidene)amino)aniline, was successfully synthesized in the present work. The target compound was systematically characterized using 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, 13C NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The consistent, comprehensive analytical data obtained from the aforementioned characterization methods fully confirm both the successful preparation of this previously unreported molecule and the integrity of its expected chemical structure.
