Sustained Human–AI Collaboration as a Developmental Continuum: Continuity, Adaptation, Positive Consequences and the Limits of a Twelve-Month Rule (DE/EN)

Conceptual research note / Konzeptionelle Forschungsnotiz This note examines how sustained intensive human–AI collaboration can be described without inferring effectiveness from duration, continuous model training from personalisation, or a new category of human beings from exceptional developmental trajectories. The proposed unit of analysis is a person's trajectory within a changeable AI working environment. Continuity, integration, adaptation on both sides and real consequences are considered separately. A normative admission condition for a personal working circle is then developed: at least twelve months of actually continued practice, understandable positive consequences and a qualification trajectory that has already functioned healthily. The health condition is non-compensatory: achievement does not offset harm caused or aggravated by the practice. It is expressly distinguished from medical fitness diagnosis. Counterexamples and testable research questions show why the admission rule establishes neither a natural boundary within the continuum nor general medical safety.
