Hospital buildings, land, vehicles and other infrastructure are essential facilities for the smooth running of hospital activities to ensure quality healthcare services. The facilities require regular and adequate management and maintenance through different strategies and in different dimensions. And as such, previous studies in advanced countries have revealed the level of satisfaction of users with the facility management services adopted in all categories of hospitals. However, few available studies in Nigeria have only been confined to the adoption of the strategies and their effectiveness with no empirical evidence on the level of satisfaction of users with the facility management services. This study investigated the level of users satisfaction with the facility management services in private and public hospitals in Ibadan, Nigeria. Primary data were collected by conducting interview for 22 medical directors and 22 heads of administration from the selected private and public hospitals in the study area.Data were analyzed with the use of mean. The result of the study revealed that in private hospitals, users were fairly satisfied (Mean = 3.24) with the facility management services and in public hospitals, users were equally fairly satisfied (Mean = 3.38) with the facility management services. The study recommended feedback programmes on facility management services for hospital owners to provide binformation on the facility management strategies adopted and consequently enhance ther level of users satisfaction with the facility management services.
